Fall Festival Season
September brings WoofStock, the crown jewel of local dog events. These events fill up quickly, so check registration dates early. Dogs usually need to be leashed and up-to-date on vaccines to join the fun.
Getting Started with Local Dog Communities
What to Expect at Events
Most local dog events require current vaccinations (rabies, DHPP, and bordetella). FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR PETS AND OTHERS, PLEASE KEEP ALL LEASHES RESTRICTED TO 6FT OR LESS. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED DUE TO PAST SAFETY INCIDENTS.
Bring water for your dog, poop bags, and some high-value treats for training or distraction. Most events have vendors, but prices are usually higher than regular pet stores, so bring cash if you want to shop.
